becuase in sports it doesn't matter what your grades are or what your family setting is like, they provide their own world where one can excell dispite their conditions off of the feild
I think that sports can be used as an scape because a sport is always entertaining and it allows you to have fun and forget about all he problems we have.
Sports can be used as an escape because the player's mind is on the game and the game only, so everythjing that is going wrong in their life just seems to go away. In small towns people are generally closer so it creates that sort of brotherhood.
They are an escape from reality because people forget about the outside world while playing sports, and they are able to just enjoy the moment.
